WEATHER SYSTEMS WERE WATCHING

Monday,  June 7, 2010 4:25pm: The next in a series of systems tracking across the Ohio Valley will bring a chance for more heavy rain to southern lower Michigan where up to 6 inches has fallen over the last 4 days. The NWS is keeping a close eye on this next system and will possibly issue Flood Watches Tuesday morning if the models show more rain for that part of the state.  For Mid-Michigan less rain is expected but non the less rain is likely and our ground has seen over 3 inches over the last 4 days. Warmer weather will arrive in time for next weekend but so will a good chance for strong thunderstorms with possible heavy rain.
